Your Purpose: The mission statement tells the world what your business is about. It is a good idea to read several other companies’ mission statements. But, make sure yours is really reflective of what your “mission” is in your business.
Take stock of your business contacts, who are your confidants, mentors? Who do you know and what do they do? Do you belong to professional networking groups or Chamber of commerce in your areas? LinkedIn is one of such business networking sites that comes to mind.
Get focused on referrals and introductions. This is where 98% of companies and sales people are losing money. They hardly get any of the referrals they could. Have you set a referral goal at the end of each day as to how many you will ask for tomorrow?
More public approval here! It is a pretty easy platform to jump on. You can also use this as another Social Media platform to interact on; conversations can flow, and you can gain more fans with marketing and software defined networking research topics used on a regular basis.
To discover your passions, take some time out to remember how your felt when you last got a real buzz from your business. It’s now time to take software defined networking that feeling and bottle it.
Be able to articulate what you are looking for and how others may help you. If you want help or to build connections, you have to be able to explain what you’re looking for.
Sort the list to look for qualities they all have in common (or that most of them have). Any characteristics that a majority of your best customers have? Write those all down and you’ll see a description of your best customer. Most of your networking activities now need to be focused on meeting, serving and building mutually beneficial relationships with more people like them.
