Networking Tips From The 40 Years Of Age Snowbird

Less than three months after I was hired to man a cubicle for the first time in my life, I heard people throughout the office weeping openly. I’m in my mid 40s, so the fact that this was my first grunt job is a bit strange. The truth is, I have been self employed most of my life, and I was ill prepared for the “The Office.” Not the kind like those funny guys on TV, but the usual, cubicle-laden type office.

More public approval here! It is a pretty easy platform to jump on. You can also use this as another Social Media platform to interact on; conversations can flow, and you can gain more fans with marketing and software defined networking advantages used on a regular basis.

If you feel uncomfortable with the thought of networking, then change the way you think about it. Most of us think that software defined networking is an activity, an event to attend, or a “thing to do”, in order to market our business. Rather than think of it that way, look at networking as an attitude, or a skill to be developed. It’s something that can become a part of us every day, and can be shared with everyone we meet.

One of the big mistakes made with networking is missing out on potential opportunities. You’ll be going to networking events to meet new people and to build relationships, so it is important not to go away with a bunch of business cards and then file them in a drawer somewhere. Follow up is key.

Step 3, Finding Investors. Reach out to your family and friends first, and then I suggest going to business-orientated clubs or networking groups. Offer incentives to qualified investors to help you with your project. Remember, this step takes time and requires you to spend your money. DO it.

You have an opportunity to leverage the Facebook platform for your business and as a marketing and networking site. You want to be sincere in getting to know others here and show your personality off.

Get out there more often. Most people are friendly. As with any other skills, one sure way to improve is to practice, practice and practice. With practice, you’ll become a financial analyst who is masterful at networking.
